What you will do

• Lead efforts to further develop a non-viral gene delivery platform.
• Conceptualize and evaluate novel strategies for the nuclear shuttling of DNA.
• Direct research-focused projects utilizing both hypothesis testing and screening methodologies.
• Collaborate with Non-viral Nanotechnology and Cellular & Molecular Pharmacology teams to generate novel hypotheses.
• Convert research-derived data into practical clinical and drug discovery frameworks.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Innate Immunology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a post-doc in academia or post-Ph.D. in the bio-pharma industry.
• Demonstrated proficiency with high-throughput library screening in mammalian cell systems.
• Expertise in advanced nucleic acid manipulation and molecular cloning (IVT, mammalian expression vector design, Golden Gate, Gibson assembly).
• Hands-on skills with functional molecular assays including Western blot, reporter assays, ddPCR, or qRT-PCR.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS).
• Experience working with primary cells and cell lines, specifically hepatocytes, T cells, and monocytes/macrophages.
