What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud architectures for public health data modernization.
• Assess current environments and recommend tools and solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid models.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to guide architectural strategy and technical execution.
• Deploy and troubleshoot solutions within AWS and hybrid environments, ensuring adherence to security protocols.
• Utilize Gen-AI tools to support development workflows and improve solution quality.
• Drive cloud delivery through automation and DevOps practices while mentoring team members.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
• 5+ years of experience designing and administering enterprise applications in cloud environments.
• 5+ years of experience developing with .Net, Entity Framework, and SQL.
• Proven experience architecting and deploying solutions in AWS and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting IaaS environments and Linux/Unix systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools like GitHub Actions.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting CDC environments or federal IT programs.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional.
• Experience with cloud cost management and governance frameworks.
