UI Frontend Engineer - Associate (React)

Location: New York, New York, United States; office work Monday–Thursday with remote work available on Friday

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Build application features and reusable UI components with React 18+.
• Develop unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Implement frontend state management with React Query, Redux, hooks, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with Product Management and UX Design to refine requirements and review work.
• Resolve defects, address issues found during manual testing, and maintain consistency with UX specifications.
• Participate in code reviews, support rotations, deployment rotations, stand-ups, refinement, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions.
• 2+ years of hands-on React experience.
• 1+ year of experience with JavaScript state management tools such as React Query, Redux, or MobX.
• 1+ year of experience developing automated tests.
• Comfort with modern AI-assisted development tools and workflows, applying AI strategically to improve productivity and quality.
• Proactive problem-solving, strong communication, independence, and a collaborative approach.
