Frontend Engineer (Ads)

Location: Remote - United States

Salary: $164,200–$229,900 USD per year, plus potential equity and commission depending on the position offered.

What you will do

• Build ad experiences and reusable patterns for Reddit’s web application.
• Develop customizable interactive formats, AI-driven ads incorporating user-generated content, and video ad experiences.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams on sophisticated solutions to complex challenges.
• Participate in the full development cycle, including design, development, QA, experimentation, analysis, and deployment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in web engineering.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Ability to build data-intensive, highly responsive, and fault-tolerant applications.
• Experience with automated testing, code quality, design patterns, observability, and code reviews.
• Experience using generative AI tools to improve software engineering productivity.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration in a fully remote environment with technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in ad tech.
• Experience building consumer-facing websites at production scale.
