What you will do

• Identify and execute borrow and loan opportunities for equities, fixed income, and ETFs using manual and automated strategies.
• Develop analytical tools and automate data-driven decisions using Python and SQL to streamline daily tasks.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to optimize trading systems, data pipelines, and risk controls.
• Monitor outstanding loans, recalls, and rates to optimize risk and profitability.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with borrowers, lenders, custodians, and client partners.
• Contribute to the creation of automated workflow solutions for securities lending trading and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 0–5 years of experience in a technical or trading role, ideally with exposure to securities lending or short selling.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with core financial instruments (equities, fixed income, ETFs) and general market mechanics.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be based in the United States.
