What you will do

• Lead the Event Insights sub-team (3-5 engineers) focusing on the enrichment and management of metric events.
• Create a dynamic event clustering product for rapid understanding of emerging issues in simulation and the real world.
• Design and implement scalable storage and APIs for event consumption, supporting both pull and push paradigms.
• Orchestrate low-latency interactions between systems for human triage and large VLM inference.
• Collaborate with UI teams to deliver event insights to end consumers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of full-time software engineering experience (or PhD with 2+ years).
• Proficiency in C++.
• Familiarity with Python and SQL.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Mountain View, California.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of industry experience.
• Experience as a technical lead in quantitative or quality-focused engineering roles.
• B.S. in Computer Science.
• Experience with FAANG-scale distributed systems and software reliability evaluation.
