What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize backend infrastructure supporting a large-scale real-time data platform.
• Own features end-to-end, covering architecture, implementation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Develop highly scalable services capable of processing hundreds of thousands of requests per second.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex challenges in distributed systems.
• Build innovative platforms to enhance real-time decision-making and marketplace performance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of backend software engineering experience developing production systems.
• Proficiency in Java (preferably Java 8+) or another object-oriented language.
• Experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems and high-performance services.
• Strong production experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or an equivalent technical degree.
• Must be based in Tel Aviv, Israel, to support a hybrid work schedule (3 days in-office).

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Spark, or Hadoop.
• Knowledge of machine learning, algorithms, data mining, or real-time bidding (RTB) systems.
