Location: Hybrid in Somerville, MA (Must be in office 3+ days/week)

Salary: $160,000 - $200,000

What you will do

• Mentor and evangelize observability best practices, SLIs/SLOs, and reliability culture across engineering teams.
• Contribute to and maintain triage and remediation processes as a player/coach.
• Perform incident response and debug production issues across the entire stack.
• Design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure and tooling used by all engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with open source Observability tools (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir).
• Hands-on experience instrumenting distributed systems using OpenTelemetry and managing Prometheus at scale.
• Direct experience developing AI processes (e.g., Claude Skills, Gemini Gems) to iterate on efficacy.
• Experience working with time-series data and promQL.
• Must be based in Somerville, MA, for a hybrid work schedule (3+ days/week in office).
