What you will do

• Curate variants, genes, and gene-disease correlations following ACMG guidelines.
• Analyze clinical genomics data and select specific variants for curation and confirmation.
• Apply HGVS guidelines for precise variant nomenclature.
• Draft clinical reports and summarize genomic findings for clinical application.
• Support laboratory directors and R&D in the validation of software platforms and cutting-edge technologies.
• Monitor test turnaround times and manage task delegation within the team.

Requirements

• PhD or MD in clinical medicine, genetics, molecular biology, or equivalent (Master's degree with strong relevant experience may be considered).
• 2-4 years of professional variant curation experience.
• Deep familiarity with American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG) variant curation guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of genomic variation and its correlation with human disease.
• Expertise in clinical medicine, genomics, or molecular biology.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• MB(ASCP) certification.
• Experience in bioinformatics analysis and variant effect prediction algorithms.
• Proficiency in scripting languages.
