What you will do

• Define software-level solution architecture, requirements, and safety strategies.
• Analyze technical trade-offs and identify interfaces between subsystems.
• Lead high-severity safety investigations and resolve safety-related issues.
• Collaborate with system safety engineering to define high-level product solutions.
• Mentor software and controls engineers in safety-critical design practices.
• Ensure adherence to ASIL requirements and automotive safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Seven years of experience in software architecture or engineering roles.
• Five years of experience with C/C++, Simulink, control theories, and safety-critical design.
• Five years of experience with HIL/SIL simulation and ISO26262 standards.
• Two years of experience with calibration tools, MATLAB, DOORs, and GIT.
• Must be able to work on-site in Milford, Michigan as per the hybrid policy.
