What you will do

• Translate high-level requirements into concrete hardware features in collaboration with researchers and architects.
• Specify and design microarchitectures aimed at delivering world-class ML performance.
• Perform power, area, and performance exploration and optimization for digital designs.
• Design programmable engines, arithmetic circuits, and high-performance execution units.
• Collaborate with verification teams to ensure performance and functional correctness.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of industry experience with SystemVerilog, RTL design, and microarchitecture.
• 3+ years of experience designing and specifying microarchitectures for high-performance computing cores (CPU, GPU, or NPU).
• Fluency in at least one high-level programming language such as Python or C++.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience designing datapath elements of high-performance cores (CPU/GPU/NPU).
• Experience with Chisel (Scala) or other higher-level hardware DSLs.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their mapping to hardware.
• Familiarity with synthesis and power analysis tools.
• Experience with formal tools for datapath verification.
