Senior Accounts Payable Analyst (PTP)

Location: Houston, Texas

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 USD base salary per year, plus potential bonus, equity, and commission programs.

What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable activities across the Procure-to-Pay function.
• Process and review supplier invoices, including coding, approvals, supporting documentation, and three-way matching.
• Prepare and review payment runs, reconcile supplier statements, and resolve vendor account issues.
• Investigate complex discrepancies involving pricing, quantities, tax treatment, and contractual terms.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Monitor AP performance and contribute to automation, system enhancements, and process standardization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay operations, preferably in an international or shared-services environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong experience with ERP systems and AP automation tools such as NetSuite or similar financial systems.
• Solid knowledge of purchase order-based invoicing, three-way matching, and end-to-end PTP processes.
• Good knowledge of Norwegian VAT regulations and financial compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
