What you will do

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise AI software projects for VA healthcare initiatives.
• Manage the delivery of Generative AI solutions utilizing RAG architectures and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between Government stakeholders, clinicians, architects, and cybersecurity teams.
• Ensure AI capabilities align with clinical workflows, business objectives, and Federal AI governance requirements.
• Provide delivery oversight for Agile teams, managing sprint plans, release objectives, and the project roadmap.
• Prepare executive briefings and project status reports for high-level Government leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading enterprise software development projects.
• 5+ years of experience managing Agile teams delivering cloud-based applications.
• Proven experience delivering AI, ML, or Generative AI capabilities through development and formal approval.
• Experience with AWS cloud applications, specifically utilizing Amazon Bedrock.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in regulated healthcare or Federal environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or Department of Defense (DoD).
• Knowledge of NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), FISMA, and FedRAMP.
• Familiarity with clinical terminology standards such as SNOMED CT, ICD-10, and LOINC.
• Certifications including PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe.
• AWS Cloud, AI, or Machine Learning certifications.
