What you will do

• Serve as the technical lead for the Suitability product team, focusing on compliance and regulatory checks.
• Design and engineer scalable software solutions, collaborating with portfolio and solution architects.
• Drive engineering excellence by promoting automation, cloud-hosted solutions, and AI-enabled tools.
• Mentor and coach other engineers, solving complex coding issues and removing technical blockers.
• Modernize code and implement vulnerability management to improve system security and stability.
• Translate complex technical challenges into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, formulating detailed delivery plans from abstract concepts.
• 7+ years of expertise in Java and the Spring framework.
• 5+ years of experience with database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• 3+ years of experience with event-driven architecture and microservices design.
• Experience with GitHub, DevOps practices, OpenShift, and messaging tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Must be eligible to work in the US (as indicated by US-specific benefits and EEO policies).

Nice to have

• Experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Familiarity with LLMs, agentic AI platforms, and AI governance in regulated industries.
