What you will do

• Grow and develop a high-performing fraud operations team of approximately 10 FTEs.
• Oversee fraud control frameworks, including rules, models, and manual review processes.
• Partner with Data Science and Engineering to improve detection technology and streamline investigation workflows.
• Manage KPIs to drive performance excellence and identify operational improvements.
• Act as the escalation point for complex fraud cases and liaise with law enforcement and card schemes.
• Ensure operations identify and support vulnerable customers and victims of fraud.

Requirements

• Experienced financial services leader specializing in fraud operations, particularly in card payments or consumer credit.
• Proven track record of managing high-performing teams in dynamic environments.
• Subject matter expert in fraud typologies including card fraud, APP/scam fraud, and account takeover.
• Analytical thinker skilled in using SQL to extract data and drive evidence-based decisions.
• Deep knowledge of the regulatory landscape governing fraud and financial services.
• Commitment to the fair treatment of vulnerable customers and fraud victims.
