Senior Software Engineer (PHP)

Location: Hybrid in Krakow, Poland

Salary: 125–209 PLN/hour + VAT on B2B, or 17,500–29,200 PLN gross on a permanent contract

What you will do

• Drive technical initiatives that improve product quality.
• Partner with Product to shape the roadmap and align engineering decisions with user needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and engineering teams to clarify requirements and deliver features on time.
• Work with architects to solve technical challenges and improve scalability, reliability, and usability.
• Own engineering decisions for larger topics and features.
• Contribute to improvements in the product delivery process.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience, ideally with PHP and Symfony.
• Experience with relational databases such as MariaDB or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of scalable application design principles.
• Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English required.
