Senior Backend Engineer (PHP)

What you will do

• Build and maintain custom modules and extensions for workflow integration, notifications, and role-based access control in a modern PHP-based CMS.
• Deliver complex backend features independently with minimal architecture oversight.
• Integrate backend services with Vue 3 frontend applications and resolve full-stack integration issues.
• Use CMS PHP entity and data models, service containers, and dependency injection to create maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, frontend and full-stack engineers, project management, and QA.
• Maintain code quality and minimize regressions in a large monolithic codebase shared by multiple feature teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing custom modules and integrations on modern PHP-based CMS platforms.
• Experience delivering workflow logic, notification systems, and advanced access control.
• Working knowledge of Vue 3 for frontend integration and full-stack troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CMS PHP entity and data modeling, service containers, dependency injection, and maintainability practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal architecture guidance.
