What you will do

• Lead and manage multiple IT projects and programmes, including planning, coordination, control, and steering of the programme portfolio.
• Prepare resource estimates, budget spend forecasts, and ensure the business case is valid and approved before project commencement.
• Build the work breakdown structure (WBS), develop the schedule with the critical path, and coordinate procurement and onboarding of project team members.
• Run monitoring and controlling: manage risks and issues, handle scope/plan changes, track expenditure, and lead project gateways.
• Validate technical solution designs against business needs and maintain benefits realisation through project phases.
• Manage project communication and closure: status reporting, steering committees and forums, lessons learned, and filing of project artefacts.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in an IT-related application/technical area with supervisory or management control over projects and resources.
• Programme management experience and evidence of successful delivery of strategic projects against targets.
• Experience managing complete project life cycles from initiation to implementation.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with stakeholder management experience.
• Knowledge of project management frameworks and methods, including ITIL awareness.
• Experience with PRINCE2 and Agile/Scrum methodologies; advanced project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2 higher) is required.
