What you will do

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and scripts based on complex business requirements.
• Develop testing programs covering database impacts, regression, negative testing, and usability.
• Document software defects using bug tracking systems and report findings to development teams.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements and potential risks.
• Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Assist in creating scenarios and data to support automated testing initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing, specifically with web applications and multiple database platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL and Oracle databases.
• Ability to develop automated tests using commercial or open-source tools.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Perl, Shell Scripting, Java, or Ruby.
• Experience testing internationalized systems or accessibility compliance (508).
• Experience working with offshore or remote teams.
