What you will do

• Create, maintain, and execute test plans and scripts for new features and bug fixes.
• Perform functional, exploratory, and regression testing for mobile and web applications.
• Document and track software defects in collaboration with developers and product owners.
• Draft release notes and demonstrate new features to internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize approved AI-assisted tools to support test planning, defect analysis, and documentation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and release readiness practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software testing, test case execution, and clear defect documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and customer-facing docs.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Windows operating systems.
• Ability to work independently within a remote team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for data entry, analysis, and presentations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with iOS, Android, and API testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira.
• Experience with public safety or law enforcement software (e.g., SmartCOP).
