Working Student or Intern (m/f/d) in Land Systems / UGV Industrialization

hirify.global develops and produces small unmanned aerial systems, including electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft with edge computing and real-time AI-powered data processing for defence, security, and public-sector customers.

What you will do

• Support shopfloor planning, layout planning, material-flow design, and production-cycle data collection for unmanned ground vehicle serial production.
• Structure and document assembly processes for multiple vehicle variants down to individual work steps.
• Create and maintain illustrated production work instructions.
• Collect, prepare, and analyze process data using Excel.
• Maintain workstation-specific skill matrices and prepare training materials for assembly teams.
• Organize workshops and alignment meetings with external consulting partners, including minutes, task tracking, and status reporting.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Logistics, or a comparable field.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CAD or layout-planning tools is an advantage.
• Accurate, reliable, structured, and independent approach to documentation and recurring data-maintenance tasks.
• Professional communication and willingness to collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and external partners.
• Good German and English language skills required.
• Regular on-site availability in Göppingen required; start immediately or by November 1 at the latest.

• Practical experience in manufacturing, workshop environments, or academic projects.
• Experience using AI tools effectively.
