What you will do

• Provide daily operational support for Windows-based production systems, including IIS web tiers and MS SQL Server databases.
• Operate and maintain Azure VMs, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Virtual Networks (VNets).
• Automate repetitive tasks and service management using PowerShell to reduce manual overhead.
• Triage alerts, coordinate incident response with dev/product teams, and document steps in Jira.
• Perform routine system maintenance, including Windows patching and disk space management.
• Support DR/BCP activities through periodic restore tests and recovery documentation.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in cloud operations.
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration (2012-2022).
• Experience with IIS administration (app pools, SSL certs) and MS SQL Server (backups, restores, T-SQL).
• Hands-on experience with Azure (VM provisioning, NSGs, Azure Monitor/Log Analytics).
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and firewall rules.
• Ability to support production systems in a 24/7 environment.

Nice to have

• Basic experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Knowledge of Git for version control.
• Experience with tools like Coralogix, FireHydrant, or Wireshark.
