AI Principal Engineer (AI): Building and deploying AI-driven solutions to transform internal business productivity with an accent on LLMs, agentic workflows, and scalable system architecture. Location: Must be based in Spain (Home-office model with occasional meetings in Madrid, Barcelona, or Valladolid).
Salary: €55,300–€78,800 gross per year.

What you will do
- Embed with business teams to identify and solve workflow inefficiencies through automation.
- Design and build AI-powered tools using LLMs and generative AI technologies.
- Deploy production-grade solutions ensuring reliability, usability, and measurable impact.
- Bridge technical and non-technical teams to translate business needs into engineering solutions.
- Create reusable frameworks and platforms to accelerate future AI deployments.
- Drive end-to-end project delivery from discovery to implementation and adoption.
Requirements
- Must be based in Spain for a home-office working model.
- 7–10+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, or applied AI.
- Strong experience designing and deploying production-grade systems in cloud environments.
- Proven ability to build and orchestrate agentic or multi-agentic AI workflows.
- Deep understanding of system design, distributed systems, and scalable architectures.
- Excellent communication skills for working directly with global stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
- Background in process optimization, digital transformation, or consulting-style roles.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems like ERP or CRM.
