TL;DR
Design System Engineer (React/AI): Engineering the company-wide design system and infrastructure to fuel consistency and speed across teams with an accent on AI-native product development. Focus on building Figma-to-code pipelines, AI-driven workflows, and scalable component architecture.
Location: Office-first in Barcelona & Madrid, with 20% remote flexibility
Salary: €60,500 - €86,250

What you will do
- Lead and scale the design system, defining technical architecture, tooling, documentation, and governance.
- Design and implement AI skills, building tools and plugins to connect Figma, code, and AI-driven workflows.
- Develop and maintain evaluation frameworks (Evals) to ensure pixel-perfect execution, accessibility, and usability.
- Engage directly with customers via calls and feedback sessions to build solutions for real-world pain points.
- Mentor peers and contribute to the company's AI engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience building real AI-powered systems or workflows.
- Strong technical foundation in React, TypeScript, and the modern frontend ecosystem.
- Deep understanding of Figma, tokens, and component libraries.
- Experience translating early concepts into production-grade design systems.
- Must be based in or able to work from Barcelona or Madrid.
Nice to have
- Experience with LLMs, skill-based agents, MCP, or other AI protocols.
- Contributions to internal tooling, plugins, or Figma-to-code pipelines.
- Experience using AI to automate or accelerate the design-to-dev flow.
