What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop lawyers supporting investment, trading, and operations teams across the full investment lifecycle.
• Act as a trusted legal adviser for private markets funds, specifically regarding the structuring, formation, and launch of real estate and alternative investment funds.
• Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of private funds documentation, including PPMs, LPAs, and subscription agreements.
• Manage external legal counsel, tax advisers, and regulatory consultants efficiently.
• Advise on legal and regulatory issues related to investment research, portfolio management, trading, and transaction reporting.
• Partner with global and regional legal leaders to deliver coordinated legal support across the APAC region.

Requirements

• Proven experience in investment law and private markets funds.
• Expertise in the formation, governance, and operation of alternative investment vehicles.
• Ability to translate complex legal issues into clear and practical commercial advice.
• Experience in leadership and people management of legal professionals.
• Must be based in Hong Kong and adhere to the hybrid workplace model (at least 4 days in office).
