What you will do

• Lead maintenance and optimization of molding equipment to ensure high reliability and performance.
• Monitor equipment downtime and implement mitigation strategies using MTBF/MTBA analysis.
• Partner with Process Engineering and R&D to support new product introductions and qualification.
• Manage technician headcount and provide leadership for 24/7 manufacturing operations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, FMEAs, and control plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize yield and UPH.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• At least 5 years specializing in EMC molding equipment or processes.
• Hands-on experience with compression or transfer molding.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as JMP and Minitab.
• Proven leadership experience managing technicians in a 24/7 environment.

Nice to have

• Understanding of mold compound properties and material flow behavior.
• Experience with thin flat mold, exposed pad, and multi-die packages.
