What you will do

• Proactively identify and lead significant improvements to infrastructure across teams to maximize business and engineering impact.
• Solve complex systems-level problems focused on scalability, efficiency, reliability, and security.
• Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable abstractions for the broader engineering organization.
• Take full ownership of infrastructure components, ensuring high performance, reliability, and observability in production.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of industry experience (this is not an early career position).
• Strong expertise in databases, distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, and data infrastructure.
• Experience with computer science fundamentals and a degree in CS or a related field.
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, or the greater Seattle area.
• Willingness to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City if not already based there.
