Senior Software Engineer (Linux/eBPF)

Senior Software Engineer (Linux/eBPF): Developing shared eBPF infrastructure and GPU monitoring capabilities within the Datadog Agent with an accent on kernel-level data capture, metrics pipelines, and system reliability. Focus on solving complex production issues across Linux distributions and building high-throughput, low-latency systems.

Location: Remote (Global / LATAM) or Hybrid in Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, or the UK.

What you will do

• Contribute to GPU Monitoring feature development end-to-end, from ideation to implementation within the Datadog Agent.
• Build and maintain shared eBPF functionality for various product teams to use in their eBPF-based products.
• Investigate and debug complex production issues spanning the kernel, eBPF programs, and agent runtime.
• Research, prototype, and document solutions for hard problems in the eBPF and GPU monitoring space.
• Provide technical input to product and architecture decisions.

Requirements

• Experience developing in the Linux kernel using eBPF, C, or as a kernel developer.
• Significant experience building high-throughput and low-latency systems.
• 5+ years of experience building applications and tooling.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
