Professional Services Technical Operations Engineer - Agentic AI

Location: USA - Remote, TX

Salary: $120,000–$180,000 per year, plus bonus and equity eligibility.

Cybersecurity company developing an AI-native platform that protects organizations from breaches and processes large-scale security event data.

What you will do

• Design, build, secure, deploy, and maintain production agentic AI systems for Professional Services and internal operations.
• Translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions and user experiences for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Architect multi-agent systems with interoperability, security, scalability, and cost as key constraints.
• Define benchmarks for agent performance, accuracy, cost, and reliability.
• Advise leadership on AI strategy, mentor team members, and track developments in LLMs and agentic frameworks.
• Handle production incidents, troubleshoot services, maintain runbooks, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Experience integrating LLM-based solutions into production at scale and using an agentic framework such as CrewAI, LangGraph, or ADK.
• Production-quality Python experience with type hints, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Systems and full-stack thinking, including REST APIs, CI/CD, automated testing, feature flags, and staged user acceptance testing.
• Working knowledge of AWS services including SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM.
• Experience integrating AI with Slack through bot frameworks, event subscriptions, or slash commands.
• Ability to work pragmatically within approval gates and existing infrastructure while creating documentation, runbooks, and architecture decisions.
