What you will do

• Lead the design of Adobe Commerce (Magento) architectures for complex, large-scale implementations.
• Translate technical concepts and architectural trade-offs into actionable language for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure product quality and adherence to architectural requirements through active code reviews.
• Act as a trusted advisor for prospects and new clients to guide their digital business transformation.
• Support pre-sales and delivery teams by providing feasibility, cost, and risk estimates for proposals.
• Mentor engineers and fellow architects while collaborating with the global developer community.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead with Adobe Commerce / Magento.
• Strong expertise in e-commerce architecture, including catalog, checkout, payments, and integrations (ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS).
• Solid proficiency in PHP and the Magento/Adobe Commerce technology stack.
• Experience designing for high-traffic environments with a focus on performance and security.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Montreal, Canada.

Nice to have

• Adobe Commerce / Magento certifications (Solution Specialist, Professional Cloud Developer).
• Experience with headless/composable commerce (PWA Studio, Vue Storefront).
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud products (AEM, Adobe Analytics, Target).
• Background working in a consulting or agency environment.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and DevOps/CI-CD practices.
