What you will do

• Manage quality control for various sports print editions.
• Coordinate with the print desk during afternoon and evening shifts.
• Perform regular copy editing of sports stories.
• Write headlines and display copy, including captions and subheads.
• Proofread completed pages to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role at a daily newspaper.
• Strong journalism and editing skills.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with page designers, reporters, and editors.
• Ability to learn new content management systems (CMS) quickly.
• Must be able to work onsite at the SCNG Design Center.
