• Collaborate with video, audio, and live blog teams to ensure cohesive, fast-paced coverage.
• Assist with the conceptual vision for the vertical and plan long-term coverage strategies.
• Coordinate staffing assignments and editorial resources.
• Edit and publish stories using WordPress while maintaining engagement and subscription metrics.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in digital sports journalism, including management-level experience.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
• Expert knowledge of the NBA and the competitive sports news landscape.
• Advanced ability to assign, edit, and strengthen breaking news and deep-dive stories.
• Strong mentorship skills for writers and junior editors.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required by the news cycle.
