What you will do

• Define and lead enterprise security strategy for AI systems and Azure cloud environments.
• Establish security controls and guardrails for agentic AI workflows and custom AI agents.
• Lead threat modeling for AI systems and Azure-hosted workloads to mitigate emerging risks.
• Architect security tooling and monitoring using Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Monitor, and Sentinel.
• Embed security governance into DevSecOps pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code standards.
• Mentor engineering teams on secure AI adoption and cloud security best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in Washington, Idaho, or Oregon
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in security engineering, secure SDLC, and Azure cloud security.
• Proven experience designing security controls for AI/ML and generative AI in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud security, including Entra ID, zero-trust, and defense-in-depth.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience within financial services or banking environments.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, Azure Security Engineer, or GIAC.
• Advanced experience with Python, Go, Rust, or C/C++.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code solutions like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM.
