Senior Accountant (Payroll)

Location: Must be based in the Philippines. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite attendance at the Arthaland Century Pacific Tower, BGC, Taguig.

What you will do

• Validate timekeeping records and prepare payroll instructions for each cycle.
• Coordinate with payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate salary processing.
• Manage year-end payroll activities, including tax annualization and BIR reporting.
• Process Philippine vendor invoices and manage reconciliations.
• Partner with HR to implement payroll process improvements and system enhancements.
• Prepare payroll reports and supporting documents for audits and compliance reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor regulations and statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with accounting systems like QuickBooks or NetSuite.
• Ability to work night shift hours (typically 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM).
