What you will do

• Define and evolve the technical architecture for the Analytics as a Service platform.
• Establish engineering standards and technical direction for secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud-native services.
• Provide technical leadership and coach engineers through design and architecture reviews.
• Partner with DevOps to ensure operational excellence and DevSecOps integration.
• Champion AI-assisted software development to improve engineering productivity.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and lead technical decisions regarding cloud and data architecture.

Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience architecting SaaS platforms.
• Strong cloud architecture expertise and experience designing highly available distributed systems.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of DevSecOps and cybersecurity principles.
• Must be based in Rochester, NY, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and event-driven architectures.
• Background in Industrial IoT or Industrial Analytics.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development workflows.
