What you will do

• Own end-to-end design from discovery and user flows to high-fidelity prototypes and dev-ready assets.
• Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineers in agile teams to solve complex technical challenges.
• Translate user research, business requirements, and technical constraints into elegant, accessible interfaces.
• Harness AI tools to accelerate design iterations and architect AI-first user experiences.
• Maintain and evolve design systems and standards for visual and interaction design.
• Participate in client-facing sessions to present work and advocate for the user.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in product design with a portfolio of web or mobile applications.
• Proficiency in Figma and modern design systems.
• Strong grounding in UX principles, design thinking, UI patterns, and accessibility standards.
• Must be based in or able to work in Columbia, MD (Hybrid).
• Ability to communicate design decisions clearly in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI prototyping tools.
• Background working with data products, AI/ML models, or analytics dashboards.
• Prior experience in consulting or agency environments.
