What you will do

Requirements

• Significant experience in back-end engineering and operating distributed systems at high scale.
• Proven track record of leading impactful technical initiatives in platform or infrastructure environments.
• Extensive experience working with multiple types of data stores.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be based in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Experience with graph databases like Neo4j, Memgraph, JanusGraph, ArangoDB, or Amazon Neptune.
• Production-grade experience with Apache Iceberg.
• Solid grasp of query planning or contributions to query engines like Trino, Calcite, or DataFusion.
