What you will do

• Perform advanced mechanical breakdown and preventive maintenance on sophisticated plant machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Enhance machine utilization to ensure process repeatability, increase uptime, and reduce changeover times.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and document mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures.
• Partner with management and engineering on new equipment selection, specifications, and operator training.
• Assist in the design, assembly, fabrication, and installation of special machines and plant layout moves.
• Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, setups, and safety procedures to ensure equipment reliability.

Requirements

• Must have a U.S. Department of Labor Journeyman's card in the mechanical repair field.
• Location: Must be based in Zeeland, MI.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain forklift and aerial platform operator licenses.
