What you will do

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Maintain facility systems including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and building infrastructure.
• Diagnose equipment failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with contractors and outside service providers for facility repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree, certification, or equivalent maintenance experience.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, upholstery, furniture, or textile environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial sewing machine repair.
• Experience with CNC systems and automated cutting equipment.
• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Experience with CMMS or maintenance tracking systems like MaintainX.
