What you will do

• Evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair all makes and models of material handling equipment and forklifts.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and accurately record repair information.
• Disassemble and reassemble forklifts to conduct necessary maintenance and repair work.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement effective corrective actions.
• Communicate parts requirements to management and coordinate orders to minimize downtime.
• Repair tools and small engines using a working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of prior industrial maintenance experience required.
• Hydraulic and electrical background experience required.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and read a tape measure.
• Certifications or prior experience using moving machinery such as forklifts.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.
