What you will do

• Define, build, and support virtual testing environments for autonomous trucks.
• Develop simulation-based test scenarios and oversee execution of test plans.
• Perform post-test activities including event log analysis and system troubleshooting.
• Provide subject matter expertise on simulation tools and assist teams with scenario generation.
• Identify requirements for new or modified virtual testing tools and infrastructure.
• Mentor lower-level engineers and report testing progress to management.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ann Arbor, MI or Blacksburg, VA.
• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience, Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year.
• Understanding of SDLC and simulation-based testing methodologies.
• Experience with SIL and HIL simulation and testing.
• Ability to lead virtual testing events and troubleshoot the entire software stack.
• Experience developing test scenarios and debugging software issues.

Nice to have

• Programming experience in C++ and Python.
• Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System).
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development and test framework architectures.
• Experience with Agile methodologies like Kanban or Scrum.
