What you will do

• Design and develop application code in App Volumes Manager using Ruby on Rails.
• Design and develop application code for microservices in Horizon Cloud Services for App Volumes.
• Produce software designs and implement them for new application virtualization use cases.
• Investigate customer issues and escalations and deliver quality fixes alongside feature development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience with hands-on full-stack development.
• Strong backend web development: Ruby on Rails with SQL databases (Postgres, SQL Server) OR server-side Java/J2EE.
• Strong frontend web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery OR hands-on Java + Spring experience.
• Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs and building high-scale services for enterprise systems.
• Strong testing fundamentals (test-driven design; mocks, stubs, fixtures, spies) and solid software design/architecture skills.
• Basic knowledge of PKI and SSL certificates; ability to communicate across diverse teams.
