TL;DR
Systems Engineer (Infrastructure): Supporting technology infrastructure by configuring and optimizing operating systems, hardware, and cloud solutions with an accent on Linux/Windows administration and automation. Focus on troubleshooting complex environment issues, implementing DevOps practices, and maintaining high-availability services across on-premises and cloud platforms.
Location: On-site in Lakeland, Florida. Immigration sponsorship is not available.
Salary: $40,887 - $115,000

What you will do
- Configure and deploy hardware, software, and infrastructure solutions.
- Support and troubleshoot Linux (Red Hat), Windows Server, container, and virtualization environments.
- Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
- Develop automation tools and Ansible playbooks to streamline system administration.
- Monitor, tune, and optimize operating system and hardware performance.
- Participate in an on-call rotation providing third-level mission-critical support.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1–2 years of practical system administration experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Red Hat Linux and Windows system administration.
- Proficiency with command-line programming and system troubleshooting.
- English: Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating is required.
- Location: Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Lakeland, FL.
Nice to have
- Exposure to OpenShift, container technologies, and DevOps practices.
- Experience supporting IBM DB2, PostgreSQL, OpenLDAP, or Red Hat IDM environments.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible.
- Ability to author scripts using Bash, Python, Java, Ruby, or KSH.
- Familiarity with SAN storage technologies, including NetApp and Lenovo DM Storage.
