Big Data Architect (Azure)

What you will do

• Design and deliver end-to-end Azure data architectures for enterprise-scale platforms.
• Lead architecture decisions, standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Gather requirements, develop data models, and translate business needs into solution designs and implementation roadmaps.
• Guide engineering teams in building ingestion, transformation, storage, and serving layers.
• Ensure data governance, quality, security, and performance across modern data platforms.
• Support pre-sales workshops, solution envisioning, proposals, prototypes, and projects from PoC through full-scale implementation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven experience as a Big Data Architect.
• Hands-on experience building large-scale data platforms, migrations, and decision-support systems.
• Knowledge of data warehouses, lakehouses, streaming, real-time, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Azure data services, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Cosmos, Azure SQL, Databricks, and Azure Stream Analytics.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, PySpark, Kafka or Event Hub, Spark Structured Streaming, CI/CD, version control, and testing.
• Working proficiency in English and strong communication and presentation skills in a multicultural environment; readiness to lead, mentor, and advise customers.
