Senior Data Scientist

Location: Remote from Poland, Ukraine, or Armenia

What you will do

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns and business opportunities.
• Develop and own highly scalable end-to-end data pipelines.
• Build machine learning models and algorithms for monetization, including recommendation systems.
• Prepare data models for real-time online processing and shape new data products.
• Collaborate with Product, BI, Analytics, DevOps, R&D, and Marketing teams.
• Lead production releases, including requirements analysis, testing, monitoring, results measurement, and incident response.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience as a Data Scientist with a strong foundation in machine learning concepts and models.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or an equivalent field.
• Hands-on Python experience with data science and machine learning libraries, including regression, classification, XGBoost or LightGBM, and recommendation algorithms.
• Understanding of databases and SQL for data retrieval.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana and Kibana.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of programmatic advertising, including DSPs, SSPs, and exchanges.
• Experience with relational databases such as Vertica or VoltDB and non-relational databases such as MongoDB.
• Experience with PMML.
