Senior Analytics Engineer (dbt)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, well-tested dbt models for commercial, marketing, health outcomes, and clinical operations analytics.
• Set standards for data modelling, testing, documentation, code quality, and transformation-layer governance.
• Lead analytical projects end to end, including scoping, dependency management, risk identification, and stakeholder communication.
• Partner with clinical, commercial, product, data science, and analytics stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust data models.
• Mentor data scientists and analysts on data modelling, code review, and best practices.
• Evaluate and champion AI-powered analytics tools and resolve data reliability issues proactively.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence.
• Experience owning end-to-end data model design across multiple business domains.
• Expert-level SQL, including window functions, CTEs, advanced aggregations, and cloud warehouse optimisation.
• Deep proficiency with dbt models, macros, tests, packages, documentation, exposures, and CI/CD.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to explain technical concepts to clinical and commercial audiences.
• Experience setting technical standards and delivering high-quality work in a small data team.

Nice to have

• Experience spanning commercial, marketing, health outcomes, or clinical and operational analytics.
• Curiosity about AI and emerging analytics technologies.
