What you will do

• Manage day-to-day activities of the software development team, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Build a high-performing engineering organization by establishing modern standards and improving delivery practices.
• Provide strategic thought leadership and build technology roadmaps while removing obstacles for the team.
• Liaise with organizational departments to plan and execute projects, ensuring accurate scope definition.
• Ensure the functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability of system architecture.
• Collaborate with architects, design engineers, and documentation specialists to design, code, and test major features.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience managing application teams.
• 10+ years of experience in object-oriented development (Java preferred) and enterprise environments.
• Strong focus on application security and web application development.
• Experience with API design, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
