What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements.
• Analyze user requirements and derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing systems to add features.
• Integrate software into new or modified systems and operating environments.
• Debug existing software, correct defects, resolve problem reports, and test components against design requirements.
• Provide input on system design, software reuse, COTS/GOTS solutions, and software development standards.

Requirements

• Active and transferable U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus two years of software engineering experience, or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.
• Experience with software development, design methodologies, requirements analysis, debugging, and defect correction.
• Experience developing simple data queries for databases or repositories.
