What you will do

• Process health plan ROI requests quickly and accurately in compliance with HIPAA and applicable state regulations.
• Use hirify.global software to input, manage, and track medical records and release requests.
• Retrieve and organize records across multiple EMR systems with complete, properly structured documentation.
• Interpret medical records and record requests to match specific audit measures and client expectations.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy targets (90%+ on supported sites) while prioritizing workload and working independently.
• Mentor and coach team members, support queue coverage, and document/report process improvements.

Requirements

• Location: United States
• 5+ years of experience in medical records, Release of Information (ROI), or Health Information Management (HIM), including processing audit requests for multiple clients.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations for releasing protected health information.
• Ability to maintain required background checks, drug screenings, health screenings, and access requirements to serve on the bench.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; ability to navigate and troubleshoot multiple EMR systems and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
