What you will do

• Design plumbing systems, including specialized medical and laboratory piping.
• Develop performance specifications for fire protection systems and perform design calculations.
• Prepare detailed design documents and project specifications.
• Conduct site surveys to document existing conditions and ensure code compliance.
• Coordinate design work across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Oversee and provide technical instruction to junior-level staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of design experience in plumbing and fire suppression systems.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with plumbing codes, NFPA standards, and healthcare design guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) accreditation.
• ASSE 6060 Medical Gas design accreditation.
• Experience in healthcare and life sciences projects.
